At Escarlata Studio we treat the information entrusted to us with the same care we put into the work we deliver. This page explains, in plain terms, what data we collect, what we use it for, and what control you have over it. By using our site or hiring our services, you agree to what is described here.
What we collect
Information you give us directly. When you write to us through the contact form, by email or WhatsApp, we keep the data you share, name, company, email, phone, estimated budget and a description of the project. Only what we need to reply.
Site usage information. Like most sites, we record basic technical data each time someone visits: IP address, browser type, operating system, pages viewed, visit times and referrer. This is done through cookies and analytics tools.
Cookies and similar. We use first-party cookies and analytics tools to understand how the site is used. You can turn them off in your browser settings. If you do, the site keeps working, we just lose visibility into how to improve it.
How we use that information
We use the data for three concrete things:
- Reply when you write and follow up on a conversation or project.
- Operate and improve the site, understand which pages get read, what breaks, what resonates.
- Meet specific legal or contractual obligations, such as invoicing, contracts or tax requirements.
We do not use your data to send you third-party advertising, we don’t sell it, and we don’t rent it.
Who we share with
We share information only with trusted providers who help us run the studio: web hosting, analytics tools, email, invoicing and contracts. Each is contractually bound, or bound by their own terms, to handle your data with the same care we do.
We would share information with authorities only when applicable law requires it. In the event of a studio sale or reorganization, data would transfer as part of the process, keeping the terms of this policy.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time for:
- Access to the information we hold about you.
- Correction of any incorrect data.
- Deletion of your data, within what the law allows us to keep.
- That we stop sending you unsolicited communications.

Security
We take reasonable steps, encryption in transit, access controls, backups, to protect your information. No system is infallible, but we treat every potential breach as a serious matter.

Some pages or Journal posts may link to external sites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. We recommend reviewing each site’s policy before sharing information there.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will publish the new version at the same URL and change the “last updated” date. When changes are material, we’ll also flag them on the home page.
